What we cover
CardRoster is a CodeModeApps preview for basketball, football, hockey and soccer card research. It complements SluggerData’s baseball coverage. The curated selection spans vintage and modern issues, including women’s basketball and soccer, and favors useful identification differences rather than ranking investments or market prices.
Independent research
Catalog entries identify a particular issue and link a source. We do not authenticate items, grade cards, verify sellers or provide appraisals. Sports leagues, players, card manufacturers and graders do not sponsor or endorse this site.
Current scope
This version provides a curated reference catalog, sport pages, a collecting blog, an embedded SluggerData baseball page and browser-local Saved and Compare. Selected historical entries include locally served reference scans with documented underlying-artwork notices. Card pages may also show the photo from one current eBay listing whose title matches the card exactly, linked to that listing. Player pages group selected issues and set pages provide partial checklists; they are not complete manufacturer archives. The embedded Baseball page displays the separate SluggerData site, including its own images and research. Historic scans illustrate issue designs without authenticating specimens, back variants or reprint status. Licensed sport-context photographs help identify the four collecting paths; sources, creators and reuse notices for all images appear on the Image credits page. Reference graphics and sport marks are original interface designs.
